The intern will analyze data, use Excel and Power BI, engage stakeholders, and develop skills in sourcing, cost analysis, negotiation, and project management.

Supports materials management through supply chain analytics and demand planning across contract manufacturers and suppliers. Analyzes demand signals, forecasts, inventory, component requirements, supply-chain risks, and capacity constraints. Maps supplier ecosystems, consolidates forecasts, and develops insights for demand ramps and supply readiness. Collaborates with planning, procurement, manufacturing, supplier management, contract manufacturers, and suppliers to improve forecasting accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Coordinate product improvements, reduce costs, improve quality, establish time standards, and recommend tooling. Develop test procedures, analyze results, conduct PFMEA, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Lead continuous improvement and supplier issue resolution, mentor junior engineers, and travel frequently to troubleshoot technical challenges.

Manage projects from planning through implementation: prepare project plans, track deliverables, coordinate resources, monitor costs, participate in design teams, diagnose obstacles and implement solutions to keep projects on time and within budget.
