Develops and improves manufacturing processes, quality systems, and operational performance for semiconductor equipment production. Responsibilities include monitoring quality KPIs, analyzing trends, maintaining dashboards, conducting root-cause investigations using 8D, Fishbone, SPC, and FMEA, driving corrective actions, supporting ISO and customer audits, maintaining quality documentation, and identifying training needs. The role partners cross-functionally to improve process capability, product quality, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.

Works with product development and supplier teams to clarify engineering requirements, support design for manufacturability, evaluate manufacturing processes, select and audit suppliers, assess production readiness, resolve quality issues, and drive root-cause corrective actions. Recommends materials and qualified sources to reduce cost and lead times, improve reliability, and mitigate risk. Design, engineer, and oversee deployment of enterprise physical security systems across Singapore, China, and nearby regions. Serve as SME for video, access control, visitor management, intercoms and screening technologies; produce design drawings, BOMs, technical specs, and QA oversight; coordinate with contractors, IT/GSOC, and security operations; support testing, acceptance, incident investigations, and standards maintenance.

Develop and maintain fabrication methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts and assemblies. Coordinate product releases, reduce manufacturing costs using DFx, set time standards, recommend tooling, create and evaluate test procedures, perform root cause analysis and PFMEA, and drive continuous improvement and automation to improve product quality and productivity.

Coordinate and support project planning through implementation: maintain process-improvement matrices, schedules, reports, cost tracking, and dashboards. Align internal resources, monitor supplier progress, and report against quality, cost, time objectives. Provide data analysis and progress reporting to stakeholders.

Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing test processes and work instructions for parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Troubleshoot test equipment, software, and product issues, monitor yield and throughput, coordinate product releases, recommend tooling and DFx improvements, and train technicians. Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve quality.

Lead technical projects from conception through implementation: create project plans, manage schedules and resources, control cost and schedule performance, coordinate multifunctional design teams, provide technical and process expertise, resolve project complications, and drive deployment for internal and external customers.

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade semiconductor/display equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems using diagnostics and digital analytics. Coordinate with customers and senior engineers; follow safety and on-site protocols.

Lead the Supplier Engineering Excursion Response Team to manage supplier-caused factory excursions. Drive incident response, root-cause analysis (8D), corrective actions, and supplier improvement at-site. Use enterprise systems to document quality issues, train and audit suppliers, and support Applied's global Quality Management System and related documentation.

The role involves coordinating project deliverables, monitoring costs, driving improvements, and assisting in problem resolution while participating in design teams.
