Lead and manage the Design Department, overseeing personnel, resource planning, workflow, quality assurance, customer support, and technical development. Prepare truss layouts and shop drawings from architectural and structural plans, ensure compliance with codes and customer requirements, optimize designs for efficiency and profitability, assist bidding/estimating, mentor junior designers, meet with customers, and update internal procedures and documentation as needed.
