Conduct interdisciplinary research on AI/LLM supply-chain risk, model LLM reliability and systemic risk propagation, and develop actuarial frameworks to translate AI vulnerabilities into insurance-relevant metrics. Design, implement, and validate quantitative models and simulations, publish findings, present at conferences, and support grant proposals and industry collaboration.

Conduct original research in Bayesian probabilistic programming, statistical machine learning, generative AI and AI safety; manage small-scale projects and budgets; publish and present results; support PI in supervising junior researchers, collaborations, grant applications, outreach, and occasional teaching.

Lead NEC IT operations and integrations during refurbishment and reopening. Oversee PMS/POS/CRS, networking, servers, backups, cybersecurity, vendor/contracts, user support/training, IT projects, budgeting, and asset management to ensure uptime, compliance, and smooth event operations.

Lead research to develop blast-loading protocols, computational frameworks and experimental/numerical models for blast-induced fragmentation. Design tests, improve debris trajectory prediction and structural damage assessments, ensure compliance with safety and blast regulations, and advise on blast mitigation and structural integrity.

Manage a complex international AI data platform programme: coordinate stakeholders across time zones, capture and translate partner data requirements, support MOUs/procurement/legal workflows, track KPIs and dashboards, run analyses, and keep leadership and funders informed on programme status and risks.

Develop, train, fine-tune and evaluate multilingual and multimodal LLMs; build scalable multilingual text data pipelines; support large-scale distributed training, experiment tracking and compute optimisation; reproduce and translate research into production improvements; create reusable training/evaluation assets and deployment-ready components; collaborate with academic and industry partners and support community outreach.
