The intern will improve Facilities Operations efficiency by identifying tasks for AI/automation, shadowing technicians, and proposing digital solutions.

The Facilities Control Engineer leads maintenance and engineering for control systems in semiconductor manufacturing, promoting safety, system optimization, and mentoring staff.

Define and implement security test strategies for SSD firmware. Design and run grey-box and white-box tests, perform root-cause analysis on security failures, drive test automation and regression integration, collaborate on secure design reviews with firmware teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead strategy and execution of global sustainability programs with emphasis on water conservation and sustainability cost management. Develop short-term plans aligned to long-term goals, build governance and reporting, drive financial modeling and CAPEX/OPEX tracking, enable digitalization and AI/automation for forecasting and dashboards, partner with manufacturing, facilities, finance, and sites, support compliance/audits, coordinate external consultants, and present recommendations to executive leadership.

Manage, maintain, and optimize critical database systems (SQL Server, Oracle). Perform installs, patches, backups, access control, monitoring, performance tuning, incident/change/problem management, on-call support, capacity planning, automation, reporting, and collaborate with global teams and site stakeholders.

Design and implement analytics, optimization, and web solutions to improve semiconductor manufacturing efficiency. Develop models for scheduling, capacity, and cycle time, collaborate with stakeholders, manage project requirements and deliverables, and communicate findings to varied audiences.

Analyze semiconductor manufacturing data to identify yield detractors, build data pipelines, apply statistical and machine learning models for yield improvement, support DOE experiments, and create automated dashboards and reports for engineering stakeholders.

Own probe strategy and silicon learning at wafer test across pre-silicon staging, first-silicon bring-up, qualification, and HVM. Define probe coverage, limits, guard-bands, and probe test flows; drive yield, quality, and test-cost outcomes. Collaborate with Design, DFT, DV, Process Integration, Backend Test, and Reliability to enable manufacturable probe solutions and apply data/AI for test optimization.

Lead planning, implementation, and maintenance of cleanroom mechanical infrastructure and capacity planning for semiconductor fabs. Troubleshoot mechanical system issues, drive reliability and preventive maintenance improvements, perform root cause analysis, enable predictive/AI-driven maintenance, manage spare parts and procurement via ARIBA/SAP, and enforce safety, quality and sustainability standards to maximize equipment uptime.

Assist Process Integration Engineers in troubleshooting line issues, managing wafer shipments, data analysis, and improving operational procedures in semiconductor fabrication.
