Lead development and optimization of 2D/3D SLAM and lifelong mapping for autonomous cleaning robots. Maintain and benchmark SLAM pipelines, select and integrate sensors, collaborate with hardware/product teams, explore new SLAM and vision techniques, mentor engineers, and ensure high engineering standards through design and code reviews.

Design, implement, and deploy robust 2D/3D mapping and real-time localization systems for autonomous indoor robots. Optimize algorithms for ARM embedded platforms, handle challenging edge cases, lead technical reviews, and mentor junior engineers using Modern C++ and ROS2.

Develop behavior, planning, and control systems for autonomous cleaning robots including behavior tree architectures, global and local planners, and controllers. Ensure real-time performance, integrate with SLAM/perception, build simulation and real-world test pipelines, document implementations, and explore advanced methods like reinforcement-learning-based planning.

Develop and execute strategic plans to sell cleaning robot solutions, onboard channel partners, engage senior decision-makers, run demos and negotiations, monitor market and competitors, attend trade shows, and relay product feedback to teams.
