The Electrical Engineer will lead global facilities engineering initiatives, providing technical expertise, improving system designs, and supporting construction projects while ensuring sustainability and operational excellence.

Leads engineering, maintenance, commissioning, optimization, capacity planning, and expansion of high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical infrastructure supporting semiconductor manufacturing. Oversees reliability, safety, risk assessments, incident investigations, energy efficiency, and construction design reviews. Mentors engineers and technicians while driving SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, automation, AI-enabled tools, and data-driven continuous improvement.

Lead cross-functional execution of HBM products from concept through design, new product introduction, and high-volume manufacturing. Build and maintain development schedules, prioritize tactical activities, manage risks and issues, coordinate engineering and manufacturing teams, communicate status to technical and senior leadership, assign task ownership, maintain documentation, and support hardware readiness and capacity planning.

Conduct a five-month engineering project optimizing Chemical Mechanical Planarization processes and characterizing equipment in semiconductor manufacturing. Analyze process, metrology, equipment, and manufacturing data using statistical and AI-assisted methods; assess process capability and qualification results; and develop a dashboard, analytics model, or automation tool. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and deliver technical reports, presentations, engineering recommendations, and documented improvement results focused on stability, yield, cost, productivity, or data accessibility.

Lead global contamination-control strategy across semiconductor wafer fabs, improving yield, reliability, throughput, and cost. Responsibilities include contamination-risk mitigation, process and equipment optimization, capacity expansion support, wafer-shipment controls, KPI development, supplier collaboration, SOP standardization, and cross-functional project leadership. The role requires driving data-based monitoring, resolving process issues, supporting qualifications, coordinating global teams, and communicating outcomes across manufacturing sites.

Drive next-generation memory package architecture and pathfinding across silicon, packaging, boards, and systems. Define packaging strategies optimized for bandwidth, power, thermal, mechanical, electrical, and system performance. Lead cross-functional collaboration with design teams, customers, business units, and senior leaders. Develop AI-based EDA and automation tools, measurement automation, and long-term technology roadmaps. Apply expertise in memory systems, package design, signaling, power integrity, timing, and simulation.

Performs electrical and physical failure analysis for semiconductor device anomalies, customer returns, and qualification failures. Uses advanced microscopy, imaging, probing, and testing tools, along with Bash and Python in Unix environments, to identify failure mechanisms. Collaborates with process and product teams, develops improved analysis techniques, maintains lab safety and quality standards, prepares reports, presents findings, guides technicians, and supports automation, analytics, and AI-enabled workflow improvements.

Develop an AI-enabled application, analytical model, or automated workflow addressing a semiconductor process or equipment engineering challenge. Analyze manufacturing and engineering data using statistics, machine learning, Generative AI, large language models, visualization, or automation. Test, validate, document, and present the solution, demonstrating potential improvements in yield, quality, cost, productivity, or cycle time.

Supports deployment, maintenance, and sustainment of Micron’s process control systems. Executes system change requests across SPC, FDC, recipe management, specifications, MES, shop-floor, and manufacturing application platforms. Ensures accurate updates, data integrity, compliant execution, and reliable manufacturing system operations.

Lead global analytics and data science teams supporting semiconductor manufacturing. Drive yield and process optimization through SQL, sensor, and fabrication-tool data; apply statistical modeling and machine learning to reduce defects; support DOE experiments; build automated dashboards; and manage cross-functional delivery portfolios. Mentor technical talent, improve data quality and platform performance, standardize modern data stacks, and partner with engineering and business leaders on prioritization, risks, and dependencies.
