Leads the Office for Research’s HR and Finance unit, supervising staff and overseeing faculty and research staffing, financial operations, procurement, budgeting, claims, reporting, compliance, and funding processes. Provides HR and financial advice, maintains institutional relationships, manages shared services and governance, updates procedures and systems, monitors KPIs, supports change management, and drives process improvements across the Office and Research Centres.

Leads digital scholarship programs, reference management, academic integrity initiatives, and library learning services. Develops instructional frameworks and online resources, evaluates digital tools, delivers training, monitors emerging AI and scholarship trends, and builds partnerships to increase library service engagement. Supports undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education learners across the university.

Develop Green AI technologies focused on efficient machine learning, large language models, model optimization, parameter-efficient fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and efficient inference. Conduct experiments, benchmark algorithms, analyze performance, contribute to research publications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate research into deployable sustainable computing solutions.

Provides career development services to graduate students, including workshops, counseling, employer engagement, job and internship sourcing, and placement support. Builds partnerships with recruiters, hiring managers, alumni, and internal stakeholders across Singapore and international markets. Develops recruitment strategies, manages employer relationships, advises students on sectors and geographies, monitors internship progress, and supports industry projects and visits.

Conduct AI safety and alignment research for medical-domain LLMs, developing guardrails, safeguard models, evaluations, and culturally grounded risk analyses for Southeast Asian languages. Support SEA-LION language capabilities, code-mixed text safety, auditable leaderboards, visualizations, and reproducible publications at leading AI and NLP venues.

Conduct research on security vulnerabilities in 4G/5G cellular networks and core network systems. Analyze architectures, protocols, and implementations; design experiments to validate vulnerabilities and assess their impact; and develop testbeds, prototypes, and security analysis tools. Contribute to publications, technical reports, presentations, and project deliverables while collaborating with the principal investigator and research team.

Design, implement, and test software prototypes and algorithms for security, privacy-preserving technologies, and digital trust. Conduct literature reviews, identify research opportunities, prepare technical reports and manuscripts, and collaborate with academic researchers to resolve technical challenges and meet project milestones.
