What you will be responsible for:

  • Discovery & Strategy: Work closely with senior PMs, Data Engineering, and internal stakeholders (Analytics, Finance, Operations) to understand their data needs, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Roadmap Support: Assist in developing and prioritizing the data platform roadmap, translating abstract business needs into well-defined, measurable requirements for the engineering team.
  • Requirements Definition: Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for features related to data ingestion, processing pipelines, data warehousing, and API development.
  • Execution & Delivery: Collaborate with Data Engineering and relevant cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Focus on initiatives that improve data quality, reliability, compliance, and governance across the platform.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on the data platform architecture, data models, and feature releases to enable internal users.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key platform metrics (e.g., latency, uptime, data freshness) and user satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.

How you will stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, more than 2 years of product design experience on Internet industry.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or a relevant technical role (e.g., Data Engineering or Software Development).
  • Technical Aptitude: Foundational understanding of the data lifecycle, including experience with SQL, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa, bridging the gap between engineering and non-technical teams.
  • Execution Focus: Proven ability to manage a backlog, prioritize tasks effectively, and organize work within an agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to define metrics, analyze data, and use quantitative findings to justify product decisions and measure success.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese, with effective communication skills for interacting with overseas colleagues and users in both languages.
