What you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the global architecture strategy and long-term roadmap for public cloud, integrating compute, storage, database, networking, serverless services, and AI service components.
  • Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React, Next.js, Sass, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement clean, consistent, and intuitive designs.
  • Optimise frontend performance for speed, scalability, and smooth user experience.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with modern frontend tools and AI trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive platform observability and operational excellence through proactive monitoring, alerting, and performance analytics.
  • Mentor and guide technical teams, conducting design reviews and promoting best practices across the engineering organization.
  • Represent AI Cloud in technical partnerships, customer engagements, and industry events, influencing cloud ecosystem strategy and co-innovation initiatives.

How you will stand out:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer
  • Solid understanding of Typescript and Frontend fundamentals
  • In-depth knowledge of React
  • Experience and knowledge in Next.js is a significant plus
  • Solid understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API)
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) and frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Material UI)
  • Proven experience in integrating frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • Solid experience in creating and efficiently calling BFF (backend for frontend) APIs
  • Strong UI/UX sense and a meticulous approach to design details
  • Experience with AI code generation tools is a plus (e.g. GitHub Copilot, cursor)
  • Experience integrating WebSocket or Socket.io for real-time communication is a plus
