The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) (Attach-and-Train with Commitment to Hire) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore’s Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand.
 

The training programme consists of 15 months of local attachment with GSK. Due to the nature of the programme, we can only consider Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.

What will you do?

Involve in and not limited to:

  • Support in deviation investigation

  • Improvement in process reliability,

  • Equipment troubleshooting,

  • Qualification of new equipment,

  • SOP amendment due to periodic review/CAPA and

  • Continuous improvement Project

  • You will manage spends across multiple functions, including marketing, manufacturing and research
     

What will you learn?

You will be expose to but not limited to:

  • The different type of equipment that are used for Vaccines manufacturing.

  • How the equipment functions and the impact of each equipment have on the production system.

  • Liaising with external contractors and vendors for equipment issues and projects.

  • Working closely with quality and production department on understanding problems that are contributed by process equipment.

  • Understanding and using the different type of modules in SAP for routine and ad-hoc activities.

  • Deeper understanding the requirements of a Vaccines site on producing vaccines.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering discipline with a focus in Process equipment reliability and maintenance

  • A lively interest in vaccines manufacturing, the commercial world and the biopharma industry

  • Appetite to work as a business partner, building strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Adaptability to change and working under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills that help you influence

  • Strong problem-solving skills driven by curiosity

  • Drive and confidence to trust your own judgment

  • Great project management skills and the ability to prioritise.
