About the Role

This role drives the capability and performance development of Tied Distribution Consultants through learning, coaching, and performance consulting interventions that improve consultant productivity, sales effectiveness, and client outcomes across protection, wealth accumulation, legacy planning, and High Net Worth (HNW) segments.

  • Design, develop and deliver training programmes (including classroom, virtual and e-learning solutions) to achieve business objectives and sales outcomes.
  • Conduct training needs analysis through stakeholder engagement, performance diagnostics and data analytics to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning interventions.
  • Develop and facilitate programmes that build financial advisory competencies, consultative selling skills, client engagement capabilities and High Net Worth (HNW) advisory skills.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Sales Management, Product, Wealth, Marketing and external stakeholders to support strategic business initiatives, campaigns and capability-building projects.
  • Design and deliver training solutions that support consultants in serving affluent and HNW clients, including wealth accumulation, succession planning, legacy planning and insurance-based wealth solutions.
  • Conduct regular evaluation of learning effectiveness and business impact using training feedback, behavioural indicators and sales performance metrics.
  • Leverage learning technologies, digital platforms and data analytics to enhance learner engagement, capability planning and post-training performance measurement.
  • Facilitate digital tools training and tactical programmes in support of sales campaigns and business priorities.
  • Coach consultants and agency leaders to reinforce learning transfer, address performance gaps and improve sales effectiveness and productivity

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training, agency development, sales management, or learning & development within the insurance, financial advisory, bancassurance, Life Insurance Group (LIG), or Tied Distribution environment.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing and delivering product, sales and soft-skills training programmes across classroom, virtual and blended learning environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agency Distribution/LIG business models, consultant productivity drivers and capability development frameworks.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programmes for Affluent and/or High Net Worth (HNW) segments, including wealth accumulation, retirement, protection, legacy and succession planning concepts.
  • Good knowledge of life insurance, wealth management and insurance-based wealth solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs analysis and translate business challenges into effective capability-building interventions.
  • Strong coaching and performance consulting skills, with experience supporting consultants, agency leaders or sales teams to improve productivity and achieve business goals.
  • Digitally savvy, with experience leveraging learning technologies and digital tools to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience analysing production and sales data to identify capability gaps and evaluate training outcomes.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational, project management and implementation skills.
  • Minimum Diploma qualification; Degree preferred.
  • CMFAS Certifications (M5, M9, M9A & HI) required.
  • ACTA/ACLP certification preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Financial Consultant, Agency Leader, Sales Manager, Wealth Planner, HNW Relationship Manager, or Trainer supporting LIG/Agency Distribution will be an advantage
