Job Purpose
The role is to help identify market opportunities for Industrial business, other than Oil & Gas (Railway/Metro Infrastructures, Power Generation including Renewables, Water treatment plants, Other plants and infrastructures), establish effective relationships with the customers and key market players (end users/authorities, consultants, developers, equipment manufacturers, main contractor / M&E contractors), learn the clients need, co-develop a solution with the client and then orchestrate the Prysmian proposal to win and effectively deliver the solution utilizing the full portfolio of products and services of Prysmian Group
Job Responsibility
- Support to develop Transport/Infrastructure/Renewables/Industrial notwithstanding all available and addressable project business opportunities on main industrial supply and through cross selling of full Prysmian Group portfolio.
- Respond and react to owner and contractor ‘s request of information/document/quotation/ factory visits.
- Acquire market information and competitor’s insights.
- Leverage on company’s subscription databases (eg.Global Data, BCI and BCA) to gain and tally on market information gathered.
- Updating Sales Pipelines into the Sales Force System.
- Support in preparing weekly/monthly reports/presentation.
- Proactively work with the team and management in pricing analysis for effective pricing and products mix strategy.
- Provide effective handover to the internal team of won opportunities and follow through and support customer care/contract management team in the execution of the contractual and delivery obligations till payment collection.
- Support in Forecasting and Budgeting work.
- Participate in any ad-hoc projects/taskforce as assigned.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in either Engineering or Sales & Marketing
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales & marketing in the Industrial business domain, preferably energy/electrical
- Computer literate
- Skillful in English speaking and writing report in English
- Strong logical and analytical skill and good strategic planning
- Result-oriented, high degree of responsibility, able to work independent
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Preferably having experience with Transportation/Energy/Industrial key customers such as BTS, MRT, SRT, Siemens, ABB, Schneider and Bombardier
- Enthusiastic, passionate and a team player.
- Mature and resilient, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Good mix of business and technical acumen.
- Display initiative and able to anticipate possible risks / potentials.
- Ability to work in team in a matrix organization and under tight deadlines
- Preferably a genuine sales Hunter, and yet excellent Key Account Manager (farmer)
- Good personality and good presentation skills.
