Role Purpose:
The Sales Professional will drive commercial success for DXC’s GrowthX initiative in the ASEAN region by securing new business, expanding existing accounts, and championing DXC’s modernization, embedded finance, and AI-powered offerings. This role acts as a trusted advisor to clients, translating GrowthX’s innovative solutions into tangible business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify, qualify, and win modernization and transformation opportunities across banking, payments, and financial services clients in ASEAN.
Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders, positioning DXC as a strategic partner for digital transformation.
Solution Selling: Collaborate with product, technical, and delivery teams to craft compelling solution proposals, leveraging GrowthX’s core pillars (Streamline, Modernize, Monetize).
Market Insights: Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to inform sales strategy and solution positioning.
Thought Leadership: Represent GrowthX at industry events, contribute to white papers, and drive market awareness through targeted campaigns.
Sales Process Excellence: Lead RFP/RFI responses, bid reviews, and pursuit governance in alignment with GrowthX’s agile commercial models.
Account Management: Expand footprint within existing accounts to ensure client satisfaction and repeat engagements.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in solution sales, business development, or account management within banking, payments, or financial services in the ASEAN region.
Demonstrated knowledge in payments engineering, transformation, and innovation
Demonstrated success in selling modernization, cloud, or digital transformation programs.
Strong commercial acumen, balancing technical integrity with competitive pricing and win strategies.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills; confident in presenting to executive-level audiences.
Familiarity with structured sales frameworks (e.g., Challenger).
Understanding of delivery risk, estimation, and margin protection in transformation programs.
University degree in business, IT, or related field; advanced qualifications preferred.
Mandatory Skills:
University degree or business-related qualification with an IT focus
10+ years of experience in banking (sell-side) or retail
Functional expertise in specific domains, including Core Banking, Payments, Lending, and Retail
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Hogan, Temenos, Finacle, Euronet, FiServ, or as-a-service banking solutions
Domain knowledge in Cross-Border Payments, Wealth Management, and Business Banking is a plus
Performance Metrics:
Revenue influenced or closed through GrowthX pursuits
Win rate for supported bids
Contribution to GrowthX thought leadership and enablement initiatives
