Role Purpose
The Sales Professional will drive new revenue growth for DXC’s GrowthX initiative across the ASEAN region. This role focuses on originating and closing complex modernization and transformation opportunities within banking, payments, and financial services organizations.
Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will translate GrowthX’s capabilities across modernization, embedded finance, and AI-powered services into measurable business outcomes for clients, while expanding DXC’s footprint across priority accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Creation
Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across banking and payments clients.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of modernization and digital transformation pursuits.
Target early-stage opportunities before formal procurement cycles through ecosystem relationships and market signals.
Client & Executive Engagement
Establish and grow relationships with C-suite and senior technology/business stakeholders (CIO, COO, CTO, Heads of Payments, Digital leaders).
Position DXC as a strategic transformation partner through consultative, value-based selling.
Solution & Value Selling
Collaborate with product, solution, and delivery teams to shape differentiated proposals aligned to GrowthX pillars: Streamline, Modernize, Monetize.
Articulate business cases, ROI, and transformation roadmaps that address client priorities.
Lead commercial strategy, negotiations, and deal closure.
Market & Industry Leadership
Monitor market, regulatory, and competitive trends across ASEAN financial services.
Represent GrowthX at industry events and client forums to strengthen market presence and thought leadership.
Contribute to campaigns, case studies, and enablement content.
Sales Excellence & Governance
Lead RFP/RFI responses, pursuit strategy, and bid governance in line with DXC processes.
Manage commercial risk, pricing strategy, and margin protection.
Drive account growth through cross-sell, upsell, and repeat engagements.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in solution sales, business development, or account management within banking, payments, or financial services in ASEAN.
Demonstrated success selling modernization, cloud, or digital transformation programs.
Strong understanding of financial services technology and payments ecosystems.
Proven track record of engaging senior stakeholders and managing complex, multi-party sales cycles.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience structuring competitive deals.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, MEDDICC).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related discipline; advanced qualifications preferred.
Mandatory Domain Expertise
Functional knowledge of one or more core financial services domains:
Core Banking
Payments
Lending
Retail Banking
Experience working with or selling into banks, fintechs, or payments institutions.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with platforms/solutions such as Hogan, Temenos, Finacle, Euronet, Fiserv, or as-a-service banking platforms
Exposure to cross-border payments, wealth management, or business banking
Experience operating in subscription or managed services models
Regional network across ASEAN financial institutions
Performance Metrics
Revenue influenced and closed through GrowthX pursuits
Pipeline value and opportunity conversion rates
Bid win rate and deal profitability
Contribution to GrowthX enablement and market visibility initiatives
