[What the role is]

The Growth Enterprise Development Division develops and runs growth partnership programmes such as Scale-Up to groom a pool of high-potential Singapore companies. The division also oversees the Singapore Global Enterprises (SGE) initiative to grow the next generation of global Singapore companies and has established a dedicated Global Enterprises team that account manages and provides customised support for a group of SGEs and potential SGEs.
This role requires the individual to cultivate relationships with senior executives and understand the companies’ business interests and growth plans. The aim is to identify areas where EnterpriseSG can value-add to help the companies develop new capabilities and competitive advantages, grow their global footprint and overseas revenue, and build category leadership in their business domains.

[What you will be working on]

•    Account management of large corporates with businesses in diverse sectors.
•    Build relationships with senior executives to understand their business priorities, challenges and growth plans.
•    Develop action plans to accelerate the companies’ growth. 
•    Proactively identify intervention tools, experts and networks and other relevant resources internally in EnterpriseSG and externally within government or in the private sector that will support the companies’ growth needs. 
•    Partner Global Markets to develop and support companies’ internationlisation strategies and overseas market interests. Identify and facilitate connections and partnership opportunities.
•    Track companies’ progress annually to ensure they are on a good growth trajectory and are contributing economically to Singapore in terms of revenue, VA and good jobs.  

[What we are looking for]

•    At least five years of public or private sector working experience in an account management, business development, corporate strategy or business partnerships related role.
•    Possess an interest in understanding business models and growth strategies, good business acumen and ability to engage and negotiate with senior decision makers.
•    Strong written, communication and networking skills, with proven ability to develop and make sharp presentations to senior management. 
•    A passion for public service and championing the growth of local enterprises
