Involves on-site and overseas testing and occasional night/weekend work.

Support engineers and managers in documentation, design review, installation supervision, testing and commissioning of signalling and platform screen door systems (including CBTC/ATC/ATO/ATP/CBI/DCS) for new and existing MRT lines. Coordinate safety, quality, progress, environmental impact, and stakeholder interfaces to ensure system integration without affecting railway operations.

Support supervision and implementation of rail communications system contracts for MRT projects. May perform night/weekend work.

Supervise construction of rail transit electrical and mechanical systems; review contractor materials, test procedures, method statements and shop drawings; monitor site progress; ensure timely completion; work may focus on building services, environment control, electrical services, or fire protection systems.

Lead and manage power-supply contractors for transit infrastructure projects (preferably underground MRT). Lead systems integration across electrical and mechanical disciplines for rail projects. Manage design interfaces through design, construction, testing and commissioning, review technical submissions, resolve site/interface issues, monitor project progress, and support project managers with specifications, tender evaluation and design reviews.
