Acquire and manage Preferred Wealth customers, meet sales targets for wealth, treasury and insurance products, provide tailored financial advice, ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate across teams for referrals, and maintain high client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Acquire qualified New-To-Bank customers through contacts, referrals from clients and business development activities locally
- Procure new business through customer acquisition and manage relationships with existing customers
- Engage other departments to get referral opportunities
Business Performance and Management
- Attuned to the current economic and financial markets by attending trainings so as to be current and proficient in addressing customer’s queries
- Achieve individual sales targets for wealth management, treasury products and insurance
- Provide sound financial advice and dispensing customised solutions in alignment with the bank's standards and industry regulations
- Work towards Preferred Banking’s intended goals
- Deliver client satisfaction through tailored solutions according to client objectives and service issue resolution
- Achieve service standards set by the bank
People Management
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell, strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills
- Committed in the improvement of self towards becoming a good ambassador of CIMB Preferred
Regulatory Compliance
- Comply with all internal policies, procedures, processes as well as regulatory requirements.
- Attend all trainings
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements
- Possess the relevant certifications, e.g., CLI, CGI, HI, M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, and M9A
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 3 years relevant sales experience in retail banking
Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Personal Skills (Soft Competencies)
- Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell
