Role Summary

  • To join Marex Financial Products APAC, one of the fastest growing and most ambitious structured products teams in the market.
  • To initially work as a sales assistant during a contract period, supporting the team in the day-to-day tasks generated by the clients activity, then subsequently evolve into a full-time sales  analyst role with expanded responsibilities.
  • The candidate will be trained by the members of the sales and trading team and will learn everything about derivatives and structured products on asset classes spanning across equities, cryptocurrencies, credit, commodities, FX, funds and so forth.
  • Sitting on Marex’s Singapore trading floor, the role will require close interactions with the partner teams in Singapore, HK, Europe, US (traders, operations, onboarding, marketing, business management, others).

Overall Responsibilities

Support The Financial Products team with the following objectives:

  • To price, book and monitor structured products transactions on a wide range of asset classes.
  • Subject to relevant licensing approval, to get involved in trades execution
  • To work with team to come up with solutions to increase efficiency of the business, by improving day-to-day tasks, using programming and AI agents.
  • To work with senior sales on generating regular trade ideas for the team’s client base.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities related to trade support, products life cycle management and activity monitoring.
  • To remain close to market trends and adapt to the ever-evolving priorities of the team.
  • Ensure course of business is in line with the Company’s policies procedures and comply with the rules and regulations.
  • Experience with and understanding of Chinese business is important as this role covers Chinese markets.
  • The Company may require you to carry out other duties from time to time

Competencies, Skills and Experience

  • Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a major in economics, finance, or accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Must be a “self-starter”, result-driven.
  • Ability to work proactively within a team as well as individually.
  • Attention to details.
  • Fresh graduates can be considered. For experienced hire, up to 2 years’ experience preferable
