Responsibilities 

1. Quality Control Operations

  • Supervise daily QC activities including in-process and final inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to inspection plans, control plans, and sampling methods.
  • Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop QC inspectors and technicians.
  • Allocate manpower based on production priorities.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and skill development training.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

3. Defect Management & Analysis

  • Review and analyze defect trends, yield losses, and nonconformance reports (NCRs).
  • Support QEs on root cause analysis (RCA) 
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure effectiveness.

4. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain and review quality records, inspection reports, and audit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with: 
    • ISO 9001
    • Customer-specific quality requirements
    • Other relevant standards
  • Participate in internal and external audits (customer audits, certification audits).

5. Equipment & Inspection Tools Management

  • Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of inspection equipment 
  • Work with metrology teams to ensure measurement accuracy and reliability.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

  • At least 3 years working experience related to QC and people management

  • Ability to follow procedures and processes.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements.

  • Proficient with computer-based productivity tools (i.e. Microsoft Office)

  • Proactive, energetic and can work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Attention to details and able to work individually or as a team

  • Versatile and have a keen interest in learning and solving problems.
