Job Description Summary: Project Executive (Building / C&S)A Project Executive in the building or Civil & Structural (C&S) field supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Project CoordinationAssist in overall project planning, scheduling, and daily site coordination. Liaise with consultants (architects, engineers), subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor work progress and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Site Management SupportSupervise site activities related to structural and building works. Ensure workmanship complies with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate inspections and resolve site issues promptly.
- Documentation & ReportingPrepare and maintain project documentation (e.g. reports, schedules, progress updates). Track project milestones, material deliveries, and resource utilization. Assist in submission of shop drawings, method statements, and approvals.
- Contract & Cost ControlSupport contract administration, including variation orders and claims. Monitor project costs and assist with budgeting and cost tracking. Verify subcontractor work progress for payment certification.
- Safety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to workplace safety regulations and company policies. Participate in site safety inspections and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities (e.g. BCA, local codes).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, particularly structural works.
- Good coordination and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of contracts, project scheduling, and cost control.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Building.
- 1–5 years of relevant project/site experience (varies by seniority).
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is an advantage.
