We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

As Product Marketing manager, you’ll own the successful globalization and go-to-market rollout of PayPal’s Cross Border products across APAC. Partnering closely with regional sales, product, and marketing teams, you’ll shape positioning, packaging, and enablement strategies that drive adoption, accelerate revenue, and reflect regional nuance. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving product understanding, buyer readiness, and sales activation at scale.

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Identify and recommend best practices for marketing processes and initiatives
  • Analyze business trends to inform marketing decisions and strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketing projects and programs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior marketing team members

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Product Marketing leader to drive the globalization of our go-to-market strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for scaling product marketing efforts across international markets—ensuring our positioning, messaging, and launches resonate deeply at a local level while maintaining global brand consistency. This role bridges product, regional marketing, and growth teams to build a cohesive, high-performing globalization engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Enablement: Lead and scale our global product marketing strategy across priority markets—partnering with regional leads to launch products with local relevance and impact.
  • Localization Strategy: Own the framework for localization of messaging, positioning, and campaigns. Ensure product value is clearly articulated and culturally aligned across regions.
  • Customer Journeys: Drive adoption by collaborating with demand gen, lifecycle, and comms teams to deliver resonant product narratives across the funnel.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the connective tissue between product, regional marketing, customer insights, and growth teams to streamline execution.
  • Market Readiness: Collaborate with regional teams to build launch plans, sales enablement assets, and content that aligns with local needs and readiness.
  • Insights & Feedback Loop: Bring back competitive, customer, and market intelligence from international teams to inform product and marketing decisions.
  • Consistency with Flexibility: Ensure global narratives and positioning are upheld while giving regions the tools and freedom to adapt based on market dynamics.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7+ years in product marketing, with 2–3 years in a globalization, regional, or international capacity.
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • Deep experience collaborating across time zones and regions in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B technology products ideally in fintech, commerce, or platform ecosystems.
  • A strategic thinker who can zoom out to shape scalable processes and zoom in to write messaging that hits.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; multilingual fluency is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success scaling product marketing programs into international markets.
  • APAC languages and market knowledge are a plus.
