Introduction
In this reliability engineering role you will work cross-functionally with integration, device, and design teams among others in the RF product line to drive reliability objectives through development and qualification. A solid background in semiconductor device physics and reliability is essential to the success in this role. SiGe HBT and RF-SOI reliability understanding will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Drive reliability planning, testing, and assessments for foundry technologies (CMOS on SOI and SiGe HBT + CMOS in SiGe BiCMOS processes) for RF application. Majority of the work shall be related to front-end device reliability qualification.
Develop Safe Operating Area (SOA) models for RF switches and Power Amplifiers while working with device and modeling teams
Drive root cause analysis of reliability test, initiate failure analysis work, propose corrective actions, and continually update FMEAs
Prepare qualification plans and reports for both internal and external customers
Function as a technical resource for reliability lab operations
Coordinate logistics in preparing samples, allocating test time, reviewing test data, initiating the FA process
Required Qualifications:
An advanced Degree (MS or PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or other applicable field with essential device physics subjects.
BS with 5 years of experience or MS 3 years or PhD + 1-2 year of semiconductor technology and product reliability engineering experience with RF (will be an advantage)
A strong foundation of device and reliability physics, accelerated testing methodology, and reliability modelling methodology
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to drive solutions to reliability challenges.
Experience with RF technology device performance and reliability
