Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Integration Technical Consultant with a strong background in Retail & CPG and Enterprise Architecture. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of integration concepts and technologies and significant experience in at least one of the ESB and API technologies listed. A willingness to learn new integration platforms is essential.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Retail & CPG - General Experience

  • Enterprise Architecture

  • Solid understanding of integration patterns and principles (SOA, Microservices, RESTful APIs, Event-Driven Architecture)

  • Hands-on experience with iPaaS tools (Workato), ESBs (e.g., TIBCO, MuleSoft), API Gateways (e.g., Apigee), and MFT solutions (e.g., IBM Sterling Connect:Direct)

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Release Management

  • Temenos T24

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service Delivery Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations and support of HIP services, ensuring SLAs are met and issues are resolved promptly.

    • Ensure end-to-end ownership of overall service delivery.

  2. Platform Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HIP platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, managing upgrades and patches.

  3. Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with HIP stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.

    • Drive and lead integration-related inquiries and escalations.

  4. Incident and Problem Management:

    • Lead the investigation and resolution of integration-related incidents and problems.

    • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

    • Coordinate with various support teams and vendors as needed.

  5. Change Management:

    • Oversee the implementation of changes to integration services.

    • Ensure changes are planned, tested, and deployed with minimal disruption to business operations.

  6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Monitor the performance of integration services, track key metrics, and generate regular reports on service availability, performance, and capacity.

    • Identify areas for optimization and implement performance improvements.

  7. Documentation:

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the integration platform, configurations, and processes.

  8. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to improve HIP service delivery processes, tools, and technologies.

    • Work closely with development and operation teams to ensure successful production releases.

  9. Communication:

    • Communicate proactively with stakeholders on service performance, planned maintenance, and upcoming changes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience in integration platform management. Experience with different integration patterns (e.g., Events, APIs, ESB, and Files). Experience with API management, microservices architecture, and cloud-based integration solutions is highly desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of integration patterns (e.g., Events, APIs, ESB, and Files), protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP), and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
