Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled device engineer to contribute to the design, characterization, and optimization of next-generation electro-optical devices. Technology development of imaging technologies, including Single-Photon Avalanche Diodes (SPAD), Silicon Photomultipliers (SiPM), and CMOS Image
Your Role
Designing and developing SPAD, SiPM, and CIS devices.
Creating device test structures and basic pixel circuits.
Performing detailed electro-optical characterization of devices.
Setting up test hardware, software, and methodologies for electro-optical measurements.
Collaborating with TCAD engineers to simulate and predict device split outcomes.
Working with modeling engineers to develop accurate device models.
Analyzing electrical and optical test data to extract key performance metrics.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including process engineers, circuit designers, modelers, and external development partners.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a PhD.
Hands-on experience with electro-optical test setups, methodologies, and device characterization.
Proven experience in characterizing SPAD, SiPM, or CIS devices.
Familiarity with VLSI layout tools and design rule implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
Specialization in SPAD, SiPM, or CMOS Image Sensor technologies.
Strong understanding of TCAD and optical simulation tools.
Experience in semiconductor process integration is a plus.
