Title:

Principal Consultant, Advisory & Consulting – Pre-FEED

Reporting to the General Manager, the individual will work within the Global Advisory & Consulting team, in close collaboration with the organization’s vast engineering, technology, and scientific resource base. The successful candidate will be providing consulting services and contributing to business development activities across the full range of upstream, downstream, chemical and petrochemical industry clients in the APAC region.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of studies from concept through to pre-feed

  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction at project level

  • Managing project-related priorities and delivering high quality, accurate work within required deadlines

  • Resolving project issues and managing risks

  • Supporting overall sales effort through proposal/tender preparation, contract negotiation, and other client interfacing activities

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or MBA preferred

  • 15+ years of industry experience with a specific technical and/or commercial focus in the Energy, Refining and/or chemicals industries

  • Strong track record in managing decarbonization, green and blue energy projects

  • The candidate should be able to demonstrate depth of experience and knowledge in a number of the following services areas:

- Energy, Refining and/or Petrochemical market knowledge Industry competitiveness/awareness

- Feasibility and configuration studies

- Process design

- Process operations and improvements

- Project execution strategies

- Direct sales experience

- Client relationships in APAC region

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, good cultural awareness

  • Flexible and willing to work extra hours as necessary to accommodate occasional workload peaks

  • Work experience with an industry company, licensor or technical consultancy is a major plus

  • Must be able to travel within APAC region
