Analyzes market rates, transportation costs, freight data, and pricing submissions to support competitive pricing decisions. Prepares RFQ and tender responses, develops customer-specific pricing solutions, maintains freight-rate records and market information, and collaborates with operations, commercial teams, and global stakeholders across trade lanes. May occasionally join calls outside Singapore business hours to work with U.S.-based colleagues.
- Analyse market rates, transportation costs and other pricing-related data to support pricing decisions.
- Prepare and support pricing responses for RFQs, tenders and customer pricing requests.
- Develop pricing solutions based on customer requirements, service requirements and operational considerations.
- Maintain current freight rates, pricing information and relevant market data.
- Work with internal stakeholders, including operations, commercial and other pricing teams, to obtain costs and develop competitive pricing solutions.
- Analyse pricing submissions and provide recommendations where required.
- Maintain accurate pricing records and supporting documentation.
- Support pricing activities across relevant trade lanes and markets.
- Monitor market developments and freight rate changes that may impact pricing.
- Flexibility to attend occasional calls outside normal Singapore business hours to collaborate with U.S.-based colleagues and stakeholders, when required.
- Perform other duties and pricing-related analysis as assigned.
