How You Succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, analytical, and passionate about sustainability. You'll work closely with the Group Sustainability team to research emerging trends, support sustainability initiatives, and contribute to data-driven reporting and insights. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and pay attention to detail will help you deliver meaningful outcomes and make an impact.

What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sustainability Research: support research on sustainability trends, regulations, reporting frameworks, and industry best practices relevant to the financial services sector
  • Sustainability Data Analysis: assist in the collection, consolidation, and analysis of sustainability-related data, including carbon emissions, energy consumption, and waste metrics
  • Sustainability Initiatives: support the implementation of sustainability projects and initiatives across the OCBC Group
  • Reporting & Communications: contribute to the preparation of sustainability reports, presentations, dashboards, and stakeholder communication materials
  • Events & Engagement: assist in the planning and execution of sustainability-related events, workshops, and training programmes
  • Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on sustainability-related projects and tasks as assigned

Who You Work With

Group Sustainability drives OCBC's sustainability strategy and ambitions across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders across the bank, the team supports the integration of sustainability principles into business decisions, operations, and stakeholder engagement. You'll be part of a collaborative team that is committed to creating positive environmental and social impact while supporting the bank's vision of being Asia's leading financial services partner for a sustainable future.

Who You Are

  • Open to learning and feedback
  • Strong interest in sustainability, ESG, and the financial services industry
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
