Play a key role in strengthening OCBC’s risk governance framework. As a Group Wholesale Credit Policy Intern, you’ll be part of a collaborative and purpose-driven team within Group Risk Management, supporting initiatives that uphold sound risk practices across the bank. You’ll gain exposure to policy management, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement, while building a strong foundation in banking and risk management.

How you succeed

To succeed in this role, you should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn. You will work closely with Group Policy Managers to support policy governance processes, contribute to data-driven insights, and ensure accuracy in training and reporting. Your ability to work independently, stay organised, and communicate effectively will enable you to deliver quality outcomes and build strong working relationships.

What you do

Your responsibilities will include:
Group Policy Management: support policy inventory management on SharePoint for the Group and subsidiaries, including user acceptance testing (UAT)
Data Analytics & Reporting: assist with policy-related data analysis, reporting, and ongoing initiatives
Training & Governance Support: maintain training quizzes, coordinate updates to procedures, and manage training records
Process Improvement & Projects: contribute to new initiatives and enhancements in policy management and governance processes
Ad-hoc tasks: provide support on other tasks and projects as assigned

Who you work with

Group Risk Management plays a critical role in safeguarding the bank’s financial resilience and sustainability. We work closely with business units and functions across the Group to ensure robust risk frameworks and disciplined decision-making. You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and building strong risk awareness across the organisation.

Who you are

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and Power BI
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and manage tasks effectively
• Meticulous, organised, and objective-driven
• Curious, proactive, and open to learning new skills and assignments
