Head of Investment Advisory
Who we’re looking for
The Head of Investment Advisory, Asia will be responsible for developing, leading and overseeing the Investment Advisory business across Asia. The role will work closely with Global Advisory partners to build robust investment advisory capabilities, delivering breadth and depth in products and services to clients while supporting the firm’s independent, objective and open architecture proposition.

What you'll do
Develop, lead and oversee the Investment Advisory business in Asia, ensuring the platform is commercially relevant, scalable and aligned with client needs, regional business priorities, regulatory expectations and client outcomes.
Develop and implement the Investment Advisory Framework for Asia, including advisory governance, processes, controls and standards to support consistent and disciplined execution across the platform.
Work closely with Global Advisory partners to build robust Investment advisory capabilities, ensuring Asia delivers breadth and depth in products and services to clients.
Build and manage investment advisory product capabilities and services to support the front office in building their business, deepening client engagement and strengthening commercial outcomes.
Build and deepen own clients’ portfolio directly in a dual role as Senior Client Advisor, supporting high-quality client relationships across HNW, UHNW and family office segments.
Serve as a member of the Asia Investment Committee and Global Advisory Committee, contributing market insight, investment judgement and Asia’s advisory priorities to regional and global discussions.
Support the management team in building up the Third Party Custodian business as a leading Bank in Asia, providing an independent, objective and open architecture platform with best in class buy-side solutions.
Assist relationship managers in client visits, pitches for new business and strategic client conversations, translating investment views into practical portfolio ideas and client-ready solutions.
Communicate market views and investment ideas across asset classes, and perform research on investment products to identify suitable advisory ideas for clients and prospects.
Provide leadership, coaching and subject matter expertise to strengthen advisory standards, risk discipline, commercial focus and partnership between the advisory platform and the front office.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
Minimum 15 years’ experience in the same or similar role within the wealth management, private banking, asset management or investment advisory industry.
Proven track record in building and managing an Investment Advisory business, platform or framework across Asia or comparable regional markets.
Strong technical knowledge across multi-asset investment solutions, including equities, fixed income, funds, structured products, alternatives, and private markets.
Experience supporting HNW, UHNW and family office clients, with the ability to translate investment views into practical portfolio ideas and client conversations.
Strong understanding of open architecture platforms, Third Party Custodian models, advisory governance, suitability, conduct risk and regulatory expectations in Asia.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with relationship managers, investment teams, product specialists, compliance, risk and senior management.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the credibility to represent the advisory function in senior committees and client-facing settings.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that’ll help
CFA preferred; other relevant investment, wealth management or professional qualifications will be advantageous.
