The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for Group Senior/FP&A Manager to join our Finance team on a 9-month contract basis.
Reporting to the Group FP&A Director, the Group Senior/FP&A Manager is responsible for the following:
- Support Group FP&A Director in Business planning and external PE engagement
- Understand and partner with Group functions and provide P&L insights, identify risks and opportunities, track initiatives and projects costs and evaluate ROI for commercial initiatives.
- Support decision making of Group functions through provision of:
- Timely, accurate and meaningful monthly management financial reporting
- Tracking activities with commentary
- Support of Planning and Forecasting processes.
- Other activities/ projects as directed
Key Responsibilities
- 40% Financial Analysis and reporting, 40% Business planning, 20% Corporate functions interaction/project assignments
- Perform detailed financial analysis including advanced financial modelling, profitability analysis, monitoring business issues and impact on the bottom line for the corporate and group consolidation.
- Assist in preparing executive and internal management reporting packages, including analytical review and graphs.
- Assist the Group FP&A Director and CFO with PE queries regarding financials
- Support the Group FP&A Director in the annual Strategic Planning, annual Budget and monthly rolling forecast of the financials of the company
- Coordinate with regional FDs to finalise forecast versions and relevant materials
- Leveraging financial planning and modelling platform (TM1) to increase the accuracy and reliability of data through:
- Design, develop and maintain financial planning processes/models/templates as required in financial planning platform to achieve ideal business planning outcomes
- Administer and maintain the financial planning platform (Reports/Versions/Mappings etc.)
- Communicate regularly with Corporate functional leaders to effectively understand the business and act as a trusted business partner.
- Research and resolve enquiries on FP&A generated reports.
- Support month-end close process.
- Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
- Agree allocation methodology and work with controlling to ensure allocations are performed monthly
About You
- Good working knowledge of SAP, TM1 (Desirable) or any other Financial planning and modelling platform (e.g. Workday Adaptive/Anaplan etc) (Desirable)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software (e.g. Excel/Powerpoint etc.) (Essential)
- Advanced analytical skills with an ability to translate complex financial information into simple, clear insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial information to non-finance audience
- Experience and/or interest in deciphering complex organisational processes/issues and optimising scalable solutions through automation (e.g. Alteryx /Python) or existing process enhancements
