The role is responsible for the full spectrum of daily processing within Finance Operations. The role primarily covers the General Ledger, Commission/Expense processing, its related reconciliation, check and balance, provision/accrual accounting, User Acceptance Test (“UAT”) and participate in on-going improvement to the existing process. The role is expected to cover general finance support in various business proposition and Financial Adviser requirement. The expectation of the role is accurate, efficient and timely processing of payment/reconciliation/closing/UAT while ensuring all financial operations are in compliant with relevant policies, statutory and regulatory requirement/guideline. It is the team’s esteem responsibility to alert the management of any potential issue and risk that could potentially impact the company unfavorable in the scope of duties.

Job Description:

Compensation Data Validation

  • Validate financing schemes, recruitment incentives and distribution-related challenges to ensure accuracy and alignment with business rules.

  • Identify data discrepancies or validation issues and escalate where necessary to support timely resolution.

  • Support monthly closing activities by reviewing outputs for completeness and accuracy prior to downstream processing.

  • Manage and maintain distribution reports (e.g., financing schemes, recruitment incentives and campaigns/challenges) ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.

  • Support end-to-end operational processes, ensuring validation activities are completed accurately and within defined timelines.

  • Assist in the rollout of any new initiatives across distribution channels ensuring smooth execution and coordination.

  • Contribute to ad hoc tasks and projects to support evolving business and operational needs.

Who we are looking for:

Competencies & Personal Traits

  • Good business sense with competency to understand and balance between business objective, process efficiency and risk mitigation

  • Experience in data analytics tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Power BI and Python.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical, data validation and problem-solving skills.

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.

  • Preferably with at least 1 year of experience in same industry on data validation.
