Job Description
Role
Lead the governance, execution, and delivery oversight of cost optimization initiatives across the Bank. This role sits at the intersection of Finance and Procurement, driving enterprise-wide efficiency by enhancing spend visibility and will be part of Procurement Working Group focusing on strengthening procurement governance.
The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can influence senior stakeholders, enforce governance discipline, and deliver measurable financial impact through structured programs and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Governance & Transformation
- Part of the Procurement Working Group to adopt and adapt best practices across the Source-To-Pay process
- Lead the adoption and continuous improvement of best practices around Strategic Sourcing for selected spends (e.g., Revenue/ Other related expenses)
- Review, refresh, and refine the Group Requisition, Procurement and Payment (RPP) policy, standards, and guidelines to strengthen governance framework
Financial Management & Cost Optimisation
- Drive enterprise-wide cost optimization, spend transparency, and budget discipline initiatives
- Drive data-driven insights through spend analytics to inform decision-making and prioritise savings initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders to embed cost discipline and value-based decision-making
Strategic Program & PMO Leadership
- Lead governance, execution, and tracking of finance-led strategic initiatives related to cost management
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program progress, financial impact, and key outcomes to senior management
- Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure delivery against objectives
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the key interface between Finance, Procurement, IT, and Business Units
- Influence and align senior stakeholders on strategic priorities, trade-offs, and outcomes
- Facilitate decision-making through structured analysis, clear communication, and actionable insights
- Build strong partnerships to enable successful execution of transformation initiatives
