The Contract Manager, Legal Counsel will provide legal advice, handle commercial contracts, assist with insurance claims, and oversee panel lawyers, ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and sound legal advice in all matters affecting the organization and its subsidiaries, ias well as to conduct legal audit on documents, recommend necessary changes to ensure legal compliance
- Handle a wide range of commercial/corporate work including drafting and reviewing legal documents, commercial contracts, insurance policies
- Assist in handling and advising on insurance claims and litigious matters
- Instruct and liaise with panel lawyers on matters referred to them and ensure that they provide the required service standards
- Perform other related legal duties or projects as assigned by the Head of Legal and Chief
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Law degree holder admitted to Singapore Bar with at least 7 years PQE in practice or in-house experience
- Experience in handling insurance, insurtech, corporate and commercial laws matters
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound understanding of insurance, corporate, commercial work
- Meticulous with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team
