Job Description:
The C&B Partner role, is part of the C&B CoE team and reports to the Head of C&B, Asia. The role collaborates closely with Country HR teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that align with organizational objectives and pharmaceutical industry standards.
Responsibilities include analysis, design, implementation, and governance of total rewards frameworks to ensure competitiveness, fairness, and compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and critical thinking.
Main ResponsibilitiesRegional C&B Advisory & Support
- Partner with Country HR teams to review and recommend changes to compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with regional guidelines and business strategies.
- Provide advice on compensation proposals, internal equity, and market competitiveness for hiring, promotions, and retention.
- Conduct job evaluations and maintain internal equity across functions and geographies.
Compensation Management
- Participate in compensation and benefits surveys (Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, AON) and reporting per local legislative requirements.
- Support the annual compensation cycle including salary analysis, data audits, Long-Term Incentive plans, Short-Term Incentives, Sales Incentive etc.
- Conduct market benchmarking analysis to maintain competitive pay structures in line with pharmaceutical
- Maintain regional salary ranges and frameworks, ensuring consistency across markets.
Benefits Program Management
- Collaborate with Country HR to assess benefit competitiveness, employee feedback, and market trends in alignment with global Ipsen standards.
Policy & Compliance Alignment
- Support the development and alignment of regional C&B policies and guidelines.
- Provide compliance guidance to Country HR based on regional, global and industry best practices.
Data Analysis & Insights
- Apply structured critical thinking to assess internal and external compensation and benefits data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities, evaluate complex scenarios, and recommend effective, sustainable solutions.
- Provide forecasting and budgeting support for compensation and benefits costs.
Project Initiatives
- Support in deployment of Global C&B programmes (eg; ESPP, Global Recognition etc) within the region.
- Support regional or global C&B projects such as M&A due diligence, policy harmonization, incentive plan redesign, job evaluation harmonization.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical industry C&B trends to provide forward-looking recommendations.
- Minimum 5 years of regional C&B experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven experience in compensation design, market analysis, and job evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of C&B trends, local market practices labour laws across multiple Asian countries.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Detailed oriented, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple countries and cultures in a matrix environment.
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- C&B-related certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) is an advantage
