The Intern will support key commercial functions including Financial Product, Marketing, and Client Experience (CX). This role is suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn how a digital SME lender operates across the full lending lifecycle. Scope may shift based on business needs, offering broad exposure across teams.

What you will do:

Marketing Support (Key Focus for now)

  • Develop simple marketing content for website, social media, newsletters, and client outreach.
  • Assist in executing marketing initiatives such as referral programmes, product awareness campaigns, and client engagement efforts.
  • Coordinate creative production (e.g., testimonial videos, design briefs, visual assets) with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Track marketing KPIs including lead sources, engagement metrics, and campaign performance via HubSpot and Google Sheets.
  • Support marketing operations using tools such as HubSpot, Canva, and ActivePieces.
  • Collaborate with the team on product marketing, including preparing materials, coordinating campaigns, and supporting channel effectiveness initiatives.

Financial Product Support (Key Focus for now)

  • Conduct market scans, competitor benchmarking, and feature analysis.
  • Support development of digital onboarding flows, product documents, SOP updates, and change-log maintenance.
  • Assist in preparing product performance dashboards and internal data summaries.

Client Experience (CX) Support

  • Track and organise customer inquiries, feedback, and follow-up actions.
  • Enhance FAQs, communication templates, and knowledge base materials.
  • Assist CX team with documentation checks and case coordination.

Other Responsibilities (Operations & Partnerships)

  • Support onboarding document checks, verification tasks, and basic TAT tracking when needed.
  • Assist in refining operational workflows and identifying potential automation opportunities.
  • Help coordinate across Ops, Sales, Product, and CX for day-to-day tasks.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for partnership-related or other commercial initiatives.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Pursuing a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic data tools.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of tasks.

  • End-to-end SME lending processes: acquisition → onboarding → disbursement → servicing.
  • How fintech lending products are designed, priced, governed, and improved.
  • Practical experience in marketing operations and customer lifecycle management.
