We Offer
The primary role of the Assistant IT Manager is to work closely with business and operation teams to onboard new customers. This involve define a suitable IT solution that will help the operation to work more efficiently. If needed, this role will need to work closely with our Global IT team for any development or customization needed.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
Response to RFQ and RFP
Attend any Business Review meeting with the customer and gather/understand/follow-up areas of concern and improvement
Implementation
Work with business and operation team to understand their requirement in order to implement an IT solution
Carry out full implementation from Design, solution, development, testing to go-live
Manage project on timely delivery and within the scope
Coordinate with Global IT team resources to deliver any development or customization if necessary
Produce functional requirement, project plan, system configuration, and test plan
Perform configuration on the application and any setup for RDT, label printers and etc
Review implementation methodology and tool regularly to keep it up to date
Conduct training for super-users and project team members
Support (Post Production)
Provide post-go-live support
Handle any change requirement
Review the existing implementation and find any improvement opportunities
Ensure any issues reported are monitored until it closed
Perform handover to production support team once the project has been stabilized
What we are looking for
Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
Min 4 years of working experience in IT
Strong passion for logistics, with strong analytical skill and problem-solving ability
Experience in using MS SQL, VB, .NET and EDI tools an advantage
Good written and verbal communication
Team player and able to work independently
Pro-Active, self-starter and willing to learn
High attention to detail and accuracy
