Job Summary 

The primary function of the Assistant Manager, Business Intelligence, is to oversee the business intelligence function in Casino Credit consisting of researching and reporting on patron due diligence, development and timely reporting of data analytics and business intelligence, management of the relevant source of wealth reporting and recommendations to Credit Management on process and reporting enhancements that improve the credit granting function.

Job Responsibilities

  • Focused on data analytics, patron wealth sourcing and credit risk mitigation.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Credit portfolio based on various customer segmentation, supporting strategic and operational decision- making.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports for Credit Management related to production, Team Member productivity, efficiency, as well as customer Source of Wealth related performances.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews, evaluations and appraisals of credit customer Source of Wealth to ensure sufficient information is obtained to make informed credit decisions and minimize risk.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the credit portfolio based on various customer segmentation, supporting strategic and operational decision- making.
  • Review and maintain customer’s Source of Wealth Grading portfolio.
  • Assist with Source of Wealth related inquiries from other departments and sister properties.
  • Train and ensure Team Member’s high competency and proficiency level in performing Source of Wealth research.
  • Identify new potential third party vendors and credible sources for enhancing the due diligence reporting.
  • Manage and review third-party vendors due diligence reports.
  • Manage and review all alert monitoring and subscribed news databases.
  • Ensure efficient identification and reporting of suspicious information to the Compliance and Legal departments.
  • Coordinate and undertake ad-hoc projects as requested by Credit Management.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related discipline.
  • Relevant training in credit risk, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, Source of Wealth assessment, data analytics or professional certification in anti-money laundering like CAMS is advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Source of Wealth research, AML/KYC, customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, credit risk or data analytics.
  • Practical experience analysing financial and non-financial information, assessing wealth sources, identifying adverse information or red flags, and preparing clear risk-based recommendations and management reports.
  • Experience in credit portfolio analysis, customer segmentation, performance reporting and the use of data-visualisation or business-analytics platforms like PowerBI in addition to Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Experience reviewing third-party due diligence reports, managing screening or news-monitoring databases, and escalating suspicious information to Compliance or Legal is advantageous.

Other Prerequisites

  • Able to communicate with guests effectively in Mandarin, with fluency in English as successful candidate will be required to liaise with Mandarin speaking guests.
