In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You'll define requirements and deliver solutions based on the Red Hat portfolio of solutions and services offerings. You will lead small to medium-sized project teams and ensure the quality of customer deliverables for one or more projects. You will apply well-developed consulting, business, and process expertise in your work and coach and mentor others while building good customer relationships. You will earn the trust and confidence of our customer Project, Development, and Operations teams by matching their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of our solutions. This role blends deep technical expertise in Red Hat Application portfolio with strong consulting, leadership, and customer engagement skills. You will provide architectural thought leadership, influence digital transformation initiatives, and ensure solution success across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

What you will do:

  • Lead design architecture and implementation for application projects, ensuring alignment with customer business goals and IT strategies.

  • Design, review, and validate middleware architectures, integration patterns, and application modernization strategies using Red Hat technologies.

  • Partner with enterprise customers to drive cloud-native adoption, microservices, APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.

  • Provide technical leadership to consulting teams, mentoring solution architects, consultants, and developers.

  • Act as a trusted advisor for CXO-level and senior IT stakeholders, influencing middleware and integration strategy.

  • Collaborate with sales, product engineering, and customer success teams to shape solutions and accelerate adoption.

  • Lead technical workshops, assessments, and proofs-of-concept (PoCs) for middleware and integration solutions.

  • Advocate open-source adoption and Red Hat best practices for middleware, application platforms, and DevOps pipelines.

  • Author architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and technical collateral for customer and internal use.

  • Ensure project delivery quality, risk mitigation, and long-term customer success.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT, with 7+ years in Red Hat middleware products

  • Proven expertise in application platforms, particularly:

    • Red Hat JBoss EAP / WildFly (application server)

    • Red Hat Fuse / Camel (integration frameworks)

    • Red Hat AMQ / Kafka (messaging and event streaming)

    • API Management (Red Hat 3scale, Apigee, Kong)

    • Quarkus / MicroProfile for cloud-native application development

  • Strong knowledge of microservices, SOA, event-driven, and integration architectures.

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift for deploying and scaling middleware workloads.

  • Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and observability.

  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and edge computing environments.

  • Excellent consulting skills: stakeholder management, executive communication, and presentation.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex enterprise solutions.

  • Experience in large-scale application modernization programs (monolith to microservices, containerization).

  • Domain knowledge in banking, telecom, public sector, or manufacturing industries.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML, event-driven microservices, and API-first strategies.

  • Experience in pre-sales/solutioning for consulting engagements.
