Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing daily operational support in booking Treasury transactions and resolving routine queries.  Maintaining some databases for Sales and providing reports when necessary. Also include support for EFX related business.

Customer

  • Act as first level advisor to the Sales desk and Operation department to resolve routine transaction issues. 

  • Work in partnership with Risk Management to seek guidance on transaction related matters to mitigate market risk to the Bank.

Other/ Control

  • Produce routine reports and summaries of data in order to support functional activities.

  • Responsible for resolving queries in a timely and efficient manner and escalating complex issues when required.

  • Input data into relevant systems and ensure data integrity.

  • Collate and check Treasury transaction related documents to ensure they are compliant with MUFG policies and guidelines as well as local regulations.

  • Provide advice concerning specific processes to enable compliance with relevant standards.

  • Summarize analysis and prepare reports / presentations under guidance of more experienced team members.

  • Provide operational support for the usage of EFX systems in the branch.

  • Provide general support on the implementation of projects.

  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree qualifed

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant middle and back-office experience in the banking industry

  • Good PC skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Basic knowledge in banking products including but not limited to FX and Derivatives. Good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with others.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to prioritise work schedules.
