What You Do
Audit Management
Plan and lead audit engagements, including areas such as planning, scoping, risk assessments, and communication, with a focus on identifying, assessing, and reporting relevant technology risk and control deficiencies.
Conduct audits and reviews on various areas, including enterprise data governance, data quality management (data sourcing, data lineage, model development and validation, access control) and AI governance (including responsible and ethical AI and bias management), to assess the effectiveness of controls, regulatory compliance and the mitigation of associated risks.
Assess the Group's data and AI governance frameworks, including policies, standards, operating models and oversight mechanism, to evaluate how data and AI risks are identified, monitored and managed across organisation and subsidiaries.
Develop and maintain baseline data quality and AI audit testing programs that can be consistently applied across integrated and business audits, enabling scalable and effective coverage of data and AI related risks by wider audit teams.
Support integrated audits by assessing data quality and AI related risks and the supporting governance and control environment underpinning key business processes.
Stakeholder Management
Work as business partners with stakeholders and senior leadership across the Group, to communicate audit findings and agree on appropriate risk mitigation and remediation actions.
Foster strong and enduring relationships with the business and act as a trusted advisor on technology risk and controls.
Provide regular updates to the Group portfolio lead and DOTA (Digital, Operations and Technology Audit) leadership on audit progress, major challenges, key audit issues identified, key risks and action plans.
Team Management
Possesses qualities essential as a senior engagement lead for a team of regional auditors assigned to Group audit engagements/reviews.
Complete working papers for audits/reviews through documenting the work conducted, describing the work performed and the evidence that supports the audit issues and conclusions, as well as reviewing the work performed by other team members.
Promote innovation by encouraging the use of tools such as advanced data analytics, automation, and AI/ML tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.

Who you are
University Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional), AAIA (Advanced in Artificial Intelligence Audit), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) are highly preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in technology audit, IT risk management, or related field, preferably gained in a banking or financial services environment. Experience with data governance, artificial intelligence governance audit, AI model risk management or validation and audits covering advanced analytics or automated decisioning is strongly preferred.
Good understanding of data governance management and AI governance frameworks and supervisory expectations, including MAS Data Governance & Management Practice (BCBS239), BNM Data Management and MIS, MAS Framework Principles to Promote Fairness, Ethics, Accountability and Transparency (FEAT).
Compliance and Regulatory knowledge - Understanding of relevant regulations and standards (e.g. MAS TRMG, Cyber Hygiene, Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCoP), HKMA C-RAF and BNM RMiT).
IT Risk Management - Skilled in identifying and assessing IT risks effectively.
Audit Methodologies - Proficiency in audit techniques and methodologies, including risk-based auditing, control assessments, and continuous auditing.
Data Analysis Skills - Proficient in analysing data and utilising analytics tools (e.g. KNIME, Power BI) to effectively assess IT controls.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly and concisely.
High level of integrity, drive, and sense of urgency.
Good analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with experience in analysing complex technology processes and identifying risks.
Ability to lead technology audit engagements, delivering high-quality results and driving continuous improvement, with a strong focus on accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to relevant standards and methodologies.
Willing to travel 10%-20% (primarily regional).
