Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management & Origination
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned financial sponsor clients, acting as a primary point of contact
  • Support senior RMs in developing strategic coverage plans and deepening sponsor relationships
  • Proactively originate financing opportunities linked to sponsor acquisitions, refinancings, and portfolio company needs
  • Identify cross‑sell opportunities across loans, capital markets, cash management, FX, derivatives, and treasury services
Transaction Execution
  • Work closely with Credit, Product, and Coverage teams to structure financing solutions aligned to client needs and risk appetite
  • Coordinate end‑to‑end execution of sponsor‑led transactions, including syndicated loans, acquisition financing, and recapitalisations
  • Prepare pitch materials, credit proposals, internal approval memos, and client presentations
  • Liaise with legal counsel, financial advisors, and external stakeholders through deal execution
  • Proactively manage KYC workflows, resolve documentation gaps, and address compliance queries to avoid deal execution delays
Portfolio Management & Risk
  • Monitor credit performance of sponsor clients and underlying portfolio companies
  • Ensure timely review of credit facilities, covenant compliance, and internal risk reporting
  • Proactively flag emerging risks and work with Risk Management on mitigation strategies

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10-12 years of relevant experience in banking, real estate financing and structured lending, financial sponsors coverage
  • Proven exposure to investment property, development, and/or income‑producing real estate across real asset classes such as office, retail, industrial, logistics, hospitality, residential and alternative assets classes such as data centres.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting sponsor‑led real estate transactions, including acquisitions, refinancings, recapitalisations, and development financing
  • Strong understanding of private equity business models, fund structures
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; CFA or MBA is an advantage

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Solid financial analysis and credit assessment capabilities, including cash flow and leverage analysis
  • Strong transaction management skills with attention to detail and execution discipline
  • Ability to prepare high‑quality client and credit documentation

  • Commercial mindset with an ability to balance growth and risk
  • Self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
