Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Rates Trader to support market-making, risk management, and client trading activities across Asian interest rate markets. The role focuses primarily on Asia EM and G10 rates, contributing to desk performance through disciplined risk-taking, accurate pricing, and close collaboration with Sales and Structuring teams. This position is a replacement hire following an internal departure.
Key Responsibilities
Manage trading risk across vanilla interest rate products, including swaps, futures, and cash bonds.
Provide pricing and liquidity in Asia EM and G10 linear rates products.
Actively manage DV01, curve, and spread risks within approved limits.
Support client execution and trade idea generation in partnership with the Sales team.
Ensure full compliance with internal risk management, conduct, and control frameworks.
Key Requirements
Relevant experience in interest rate trading, preferably within Asian markets.
Strong understanding of vanilla rates products.
Demonstrated risk discipline with clear P&L accountability.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
