Provide regional tax advisory and oversight for ING Wholesale Banking across Asia, focusing on Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. Advise on cross-border tax, transfer pricing, BEPS/Pillar Two, withholding taxes, tax clauses, entity restructurings, compliance, audits, SOX controls, IFRS tax reporting and stakeholder communication with CFOs and Head Office.

Lead origination and execution of financial-institution advisory mandates (M&A, investments, bancassurance). Manage pitch preparation, financial modelling, transaction documentation, project management, client liaison, quality control, and mentoring of junior staff while ensuring compliance with ING policies.

Lead regional external communications and brand experience for APAC: manage media relations and PR agencies, develop strategic communications and key messaging, create content, oversee channels (intranet, website, LinkedIn), handle crisis communications, and engage internal and external stakeholders.

Manage and improve lending mid-office operations for domestic and international bilateral and syndicated credit facilities. Execute transaction determination, registration, drawdown/payment checks, funding instructions, credit monitoring, and regulatory reporting. Liaise with front office, risk, finance, and external stakeholders to structure bespoke deals, implement efficient processes, participate in system testing, and deliver control and reconciliation reporting.

Lead and perform Singapore regulatory reporting (MAS), manage remediation and transformation of reporting platforms, engage regulators and stakeholders, drive reporting changes with IT, support audits, and improve report quality and controls.

Support and evolve the IPA Data Analytics & Reporting platform on GCP for Financial Markets. Own production incidents, drive problem management, implement automation and AI-assisted improvements, and support releases, monitoring, and documentation. Collaborate with trading, risk, infrastructure teams and participate in a shared global on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability and operational excellence.

Support Transaction Services COE across deal lifecycle: financial and receivables analysis, structuring trade and working-capital solutions, drafting credit proposals and legal documents, managing program operations, monitoring covenants, liaising with stakeholders and clients, and preparing presentations and renewal proposals.
