About the Department
Group International Management (“GIM”) looks after the Group’s international banking franchise and also houses the Group Foreign Direct Investment Advisory unit, who works closely with ecosystem partners across Government Investment Promotion agencies, Trade Association and Chambers to help companies regionalize in ASEAN.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive business outcomes with ecosystem partners - Support Group FDI Advisory on delivering collaboration initiatives with government agencies, trade associations and chambers, and other professional services partners across major ASEAN markets
- Performance narratives - Support business narratives with setting and tracking of appropriate performance measures and deliverables
- Analytics and action plans - Maintain data repositories, conduct research on market trends, and develop tools and presentations to facilitate analysis, insights, reporting and action plans
- Project management and execution - Support planning and running of regional events and activities, and management cadences with internal stakeholders and external partners
Job Requirements
- Good bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ work experience with exposure to government / regulatory affairs, consulting, strategy, trade associations or international business development
- Commercial mindset with strong narrative writing, quantitative, creative problem-solving and process design skills
- Trade / investment policy and project management experience (track record of spearheading projects from concept to completion) will be a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to build relationships with stakeholders
- Can-do attitude with ability to work independently, handle challenging situations and thrive in ambiguity
- Win-win mentality and out-of-box thinking to drive collaborative outcomes
- Disciplined planning and organizational skills, highly resourceful, tech-savvy
- Advanced Excel (VBA), Word and PowerPoint
