Visiting Professor in Seismology

A Visiting Professor position in Seismology is available at the Asian School of the Environment, Nanyang Technological University. The position will strengthen our research and educational capabilities in seismology and geophysics and contribute actively to the research culture of ASE and the Earth Observatory of Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and seminars for the ASE community, including undergraduate and graduate students
  • Co-advise and mentor junior researchers
  • Engage with ASE and EOS faculty and research staff to develop research collaborations, including but not limited to conference and workshop organization, joint publications, and research proposals

Requirements:

  • A relevant Ph.D. from a reputable University
  • Strong expertise in geophysics and seismology
  • High international standing and visibility in their field of research
  • An excellent track record of research publications
  • Relevant university-level teaching experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
