Visting Professor: English
The School of Humanities invites applications for a Visiting Professor Position in English. The successful candidate will specialise in contemporary literature, with particular expertise in literary representations of posthuman care in contemporary fiction. Applicants should also demonstrate a distinguished record of research and publication.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach one course in the English Programme and to contribute actively to the research culture of both English and the wider School of Humanities.
Requirements
Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- PhD in a relevant field in the Humanities
- Strong expertise in contemporary literature and posthumanism
- An excellent track record of research publications
- Relevant university-level teaching experience
