This role is responsible for supporting and driving the implementation of GPP across APAC branches, as part of MUFG’s regional payments and transaction banking strategy. The position focuses on end‑to‑end project management for GPP introduction, including coordination with multiple APAC locations, alignment with regional and Head Office stakeholders, and governance of scope, schedule, risk, and deliverables throughout the GPP implementation and rollout lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the PMO Lead / Project Director in managing the GPP replacement project across design, build, testing, and rollout phases

  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including regional business units, operations teams, IT (internal and vendors), and Head Office functions

  • Manage and track overall project plan, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities across workstreams

  • Collect, consolidate, and validate project status updates from workstream leads

  • Proactively identify, monitor, and escalate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies

  • Support project governance, including preparation of materials for Steering Committee, senior management

  • Facilitate effective communication between Head office and regions to support a consistent GPP rollout approach

  • Support change management, cutover planning, and implementation readiness activities

  • Assist in project administration tasks such as meeting coordination, documentation management, and vendor coordination

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of working experience, minimum 3 years in project management or PMO roles, preferably in large‑scale banking system or payment system transformation projects

  • Experience in managing projects across countries

  • Strong ability to prepare clear and professional project documentation and presentation materials

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and IT teams

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and governance discipline

  • Bachelor Degree
