Job Responsibilities:

Regional Network Operations Management

  • Lead APAC regional network operations, including daily service stability, escalation management, operational governance, and readiness.
  • Manage Run-the-Bank network services across data centre, LAN/WAN, campus, wireless, internet edge, SD-WAN, load balancer, GSLB, SASE, and related platforms.
  • Ensure services operate in line with Bank standards, security policies, regulatory requirements, and operational control expectations.
  • Maintain operational ownership, support models, escalation matrices, documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.

Incident, Problem and Major Escalation Management

  • Lead major incident response, regional escalations, service restoration, stakeholder communication, and impact reporting.
  • Drive RCA, post-incident reviews, problem management, and permanent corrective actions.
  • Track recurring issues and partner with engineering teams to eliminate root causes and improve service stability.
  • Ensure incidents and problems are managed in line with ITIL and internal operational processes.

Change, Release and Operational Governance

  • Oversee network change governance from an operations perspective, including readiness, risk, impact, support requirements, and post-change validation.
  • Ensure network changes are coordinated across regional teams, vendors, service providers, application teams, and infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Participate in CAB/change review forums and drive lessons learnt for failed, delayed, or high-impact changes.

Audit, Risk, Vulnerability and Compliance

  • Support audits by coordinating evidence collection, control validation, remediation tracking, and closure updates.
  • Track audit findings, risk items, compliance gaps, vulnerabilities, patching, firmware upgrades, platform hardening, and lifecycle risks.
  • Ensure operational records, access controls, change records, vulnerability actions, and service management evidence remain audit-ready.
  • Work with risk, compliance, security, engineering, vendors, and service providers to strengthen the network control environment.

Service Management, Reporting and Governance

  • Own regional network service reporting, dashboards, SLA tracking, availability, capacity, risks, incidents, changes, audit items, and service improvements.
  • Prepare clear management updates for senior leadership, technology forums, and governance meetings.
  • Track vendor/service provider performance, SLA adherence, escalation quality, and service improvement plans.

Service Improvement and NRE Transformation

  • Drive the shift from reactive operations to a proactive NRE-led operating model focused on reliability, observability, automation, and toil reduction.
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, event correlation, dashboards, and early risk detection.
  • Promote scripting, automation, and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify repeatable operational tasks for automation across incident triage, reporting, vulnerability tracking, configuration compliance, and dashboards.
  • Partner with engineering teams to reduce repeat incidents, improve resiliency, and mature operational practices.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and manage regional network operations teams and support partners, with clear roles, responsibilities, escalation paths, and accountability.
  • Build a change leadership mindset focused on automation adoption, observability improvement, service maturity, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with engineering, security, cloud, application, infrastructure, audit, risk, business, vendor, and service provider teams.
  • Provide timely, professional communication during incidents, changes, audits, service reviews, and management reporting.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 14 years of experience in network operations, infrastructure operations, or enterprise technology operations.
  • Experience managing large-scale regional network operations, preferably across APAC.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience managing Run-the-Bank network services, incident management, problem management, change governance, audit support, service reporting, and operational controls.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL-based incident, problem, change, release, and service management practices.
  • Experience managing vendors, telecom providers, managed service providers, OEMs, and SLA governance.
  • Experience supporting audit, risk, vulnerability management, compliance tracking, and operational control remediation.
  • Experience leading service improvement and operational transformation with focus on automation, scripting, AI-enabled tooling, observability, NRE/reliability engineering, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management, executive reporting, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Must be willing to participate in a weekend on-call/standby rotation to support major incidents, high-priority escalations, and critical service restoration activities across the APAC region.
