Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Insurer Consulting Group (ICG) team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
 

Marsh’s ICG partners with insurance carriers across Asia to strengthen strategic relationships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver insights and solutions that help clients improve performance and expand their market presence.

This role is suited to an experienced individual contributor with strong carrier relationship management experience in the commercial insurance sector. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, collaborating closely with Marsh colleagues across Asia to support strategic carrier engagement, business growth, and client development initiatives.

We will count on you to:

  • Maintain and expand a book of business, while supporting senior colleagues on large or complex accounts and delivering value-added consulting services to strategic carrier partners.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues and project specialists to identify key decision makers, account needs, underlying risks, and opportunities to grow carrier relationships across Asia.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify target buyer hubs, expansion opportunities, internal offerings, and market trends to help institutionalize accounts within the business.
  • Analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative account, project, and market data into viable proposals and bespoke consulting solutions.
  • Assist in developing and presenting custom solutions for complex account and prospective account needs to senior colleagues, insurer clients, and prospects.
  • Ensure managed accounts are in good standing, address escalated issues promptly, and deliver on annual targets and bespoke consulting projects.

What you need to have:

  • Degree holder with at least 8 years of relevant experience in the commercial insurance industry in Asia.
  • Good commercial acumen with demonstrated capabilities to manage and grow a book of business.
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills, comfortable dealing with stakeholders up to C-level.
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in prioritizing competing work assignments, escalating issues, and formulating solutions.
  • Effective organization and consulting skills with key attention to detail and delivery of high-quality documentation with the ability to implement/influence change.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and experience around the use of data to manage and improve performance.
